The mission of Pain Relief and Physical Therapy Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency is to provide post-professional didactic and clinical training to physical therapists who seek to develop advanced clinical decision making, manual skills, and diagnostic proficiency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Graduates of the Residency will demonstrate orthopedic competency in compliance with the Description of Specialty Practice as described by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).
Duration- 12 month program that consists of intense in class and remote module learning.
Experience in treating in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Program will include 1,800 total program hours broken down into 300 educational hours, 1,500 patient care clinic hours, 150 1:1 mentorship.
Consist of 176 educational hours spread out over the 12 months
Residents will also be required to take four 3 day intensive weekend seminars over the course of residency consisting of 76 hours
Online remote learning modules from APTA and Medbridge
150 hours of 1:1 Mentorship at Pain Relief and Physical Therapy
