Addison Lerner-Lentz, DPT, FAAOMPT, COMT is the owner and director of Pain Relief & Physical Therapy. She graduated from Utica College with a B.S. in Health Studies and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and American Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapists. Along with director and physical therapist, Dr. Lerner-Lentz is the CCCE for physical therapy students and clinical rotations. She has been a member of the staff since June 2010 and owner since January 2023. Addison completed her COMT certification in 2013 through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars and is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). She completed a fellowship in manual therapy through the Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars Program in February of 2020 and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT). Addison is currently involved in further research for cervicogenic headaches disorders. This past year Dr. Lerner-Lentz started as an adjunct professor for Tufts University Physical Therapy program. Addison has a strong interest in sports and she previously coached at Haverford College for 9 years and Ursinus College for 2 years. Dr. Lerner-Lentz participates and competes year-round in triathlons, 5Ks and half marathons. She is a National Qualifier for her age group.
Sarah Abbonizio, DPT is a licensed physical therapist who graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in May 2020 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and in 2018 with a B.S. in Health Sciences. She played collegiate basketball for the University of the Sciences from 2014-2018, where the team won back to back conference championships and advanced to the NCAA DII Sweet 16 in 2018. She was also a graduate assistant coach for the 2018-2019 season. Dr. Abbonizio enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with friends and family in her spare time.
Kelsey Czyszczon, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist who graduated from Lebanon Valley College in May 2023 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and in 2021 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. She grew up playing softball and volleyball and continues to play recreationally with her friends. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her Bernadoodle, Dakota, relaxing on the beach, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Artem Pyatanov is a licensed PTA, he graduated in 2019 and has been practicing as an PTA while he attended Neumann University for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, in which he completed May 2024. He has a rich background in sports, particularly hockey and soccer. His journey into the physical therapy profession was inspired by his own experiences with multiple injuries during his school and college yeas. With a keen interest in manual therapy and innovative treatment approaches, Artem is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal recovery and performance.
Emily Swope, DPT, COMT is a licensed physical therapist who graduated from Widener University in 2021 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and in 2019 with a B.S. in Biology. She completed her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certification in July, 2023 and is passionate about continuing to expand her knowledge about manual therapy. Dr. Swope ran collegiate cross country and track and field at Widener University. Since graduating college, she now runs marathons, half marathons, and recently, competed in her first triathlon. When she is not working or running, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Blueberry.
Bryan O’Halloran, PT, DPT, DSc, OCS, SCS, FAAOMPT, is the founder of Pain Relief & Physical Therapy. He graduated from LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia and received his Doctorate from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.
Dr. O’Halloran is a Board Certified Specialist in both Sports and Orthopedics under the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He lectures nationally to physical therapists, physicians and athletic trainers regarding our specialized rehabilitation techniques and is a Founding Fellow of the American Maitland Instructors Association. He is one of very few physical therapists in the country who have a dual Board Certification.
Bryan completed his Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 2018 and has worked with Australian National Teams at World Championships with a variety of work experience across the orthopedic and sports domain. His current areas of research involve cervicogenic headache disorders as well as shoulder impingement syndrome. Research done by Dr. O'Halloran can be found on the research page.
Ann Donnelly is our Accounts Receivable Specialist and Business Office Manager and has been a member of the staff since September 2008. Ann received her BSBA from Villanova University in 1992 and has worked in the medical billing/collections field for 26 years. She currently lives in Havertown with her husband and 4 children.
Kelly Fontana is our Front Desk Receptist who started working with us in January 2019. Kelly graduated from St. Joseph's University in 1989 with a BS in Marketing. Kelly has worked in sales, customer service, and marketing in various field since 1988. She resides in Drexel Hill with her husband and son.
Donna Foster, PTA, is one of our Front Desk Receptionists and as been a member of the staff at Pain Relief and Physical Therapy since October, 2009.
She is a licensed physical therapist assistant who attended school at Harcum College, and graduated in 1989. She has worked in outpatient care for the past 30 years. She grew up in Havertown and currently lives in Broomall.
Nancy O'Halloran is our Compliance Officer who has been a member of the staff since 1996. Nancy received her BS from West Chester University in 1986 and has worked in this field for 23 years. She currently lives in Havertown with her husband, 4 children and two adorable puppies.
Robyn O'Halloran, EIT, MCE, is our IT Specialist and one of our front desk receptionist and has been a member of the staff since 2016. Robyn recieved her Bachelors of Envnironmental Engineering from the University of Delaware (UD) in 2021 and continued her education at UD for a Masters of Civil Engineering, successfully defending her thesis in June of 2023. She currently is working on her PhD at UD and hopes to pursue a job as a professor in her field. Robyn enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and is currently training for a few triathlons!
